It not surprising as the developer says he took inspiration for the program from Total Commander. Apart from looking similar to Total Commander, Double Commander also makes use of the Total Commander plugins that are available, such as those from Totalcmd. Although there are dozens available that can enhance functionality, not all will work and it may be trial and error to see which plugins you can use.
Download Double Commander. Tablacus Explorer — Download the tabbed file manager with Add-on support. Most people are probably never going to know though because you have to manually load in the layout for multi-pane use. One thing I love about most of these programs is the ability to see the size of folders. I also use these programs for folder comparison and syncing.
